Homemade Pita Bread

Pita bread is super easy to make, and it is so much better than the supermarket stuff. Timmy and I made some today. It’s fun for the kids to watch the breads puff in the oven – kinda like a science experiment. That’s right, homemade pitas have pockets too. :)

The recipe that I used can be found here. I used 1 cup of whole wheat flour and 2 cups of all purpose flour. By the way, I’ve been using a new brand of white flour lately. It is a blend of regular white flour and whole grains, and nobody has noticed the difference, including me. :)
