I don’t like to order ribs in restaurants since they are so messy. But, I used to get them from a restaurant where I worked in college. Harrigan’s had the best, and they weren’t messy there because they were so tender that you could eat them with a fork. So good… This recipe came very close to Harrigan’s ribs.
2 racks baby back ribs, cut in half
BBQ rub seasoning of your choice
BBQ sauce of your choice
Rub the meat with your BBQ seasoning, and wrap each ½ rack in foil individually. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 to 2 ½ hours. Prepare an outdoor grill for high, direct heat. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them sit for about 10 minutes. Cover the ribs in the BBQ sauce and grill, 3-4 minutes on each side.
Serve with your favorite side dishes, like baked beans and coleslaw. Follow up with apple pie
